Smithfield Street Bridge: Represents an architectural detail from the oldest bridge in Pittsburgh
United Steelworkers Building: Originally known as the IBM Building, this pattern is from the building’s diagrid
Allegheny County Courthouse: Represents the “Bridge of Sighs,” which connects the courthouse to the former county jail
Benedum Center: Represents the arch detail above the theater’s marquee sign
Koppers Building: Represents an architectural detail from the building
Heinz Hall: Represents a decorative detail from the inside of the theater’s domed entrance canopies
Omni William Penn Hotel: Represents the hotel’s ornate coffered ceilings
PPG Place: Represents the building’s glass spires and courtyard paving design

The pattern in this design is created with an icon that is the shape inspired by the Regional Enterprise Tower (formerly the Alcoa Building) in Downtown Pittsburgh.
